Beautiful color, did turn out darker then expected. However my hair is really light, so that could be why it turned out darker then wanted. But I'm not upset about the color because it will fade overtime anyway. Only negative thing about the dye is that it stains really bad. Your skin will be purple, and so will your bathtub/sink will be stained as well. I've washed my hair twice since dying it, and it still stains my hands, face, and neck. Besides my skin lookin like Barney, the hair dye is good.

Not pink/red based at all.

This one turned a dark plum shade...and that was on light bleached blonde...that had very faded red on it. My daughter likes color but this was disappointing. Its definitely not as advertised at all. I've used red based black before and they turned out actually reddish. Not sure what's up with this company. This is the 2nd fail from them.

I love Medusa products and have not been disappointed until now. this metallic red color on platinum blonde hair (color recommended on container) turned out a fun shade of dark purple. i like the color it turned out thank goodness but it was not what i was going for or was expecting so i was disappointed in the overall experience on this one.
