Glitter Lipstick - Black

If you're going for a messy grunge look then maybe but this did not work the way I thought it would. Idk if those pictures had it set with eyeshadow or maybe a more permanent black base or what but this doesn't come out looking as advertised on its own. A standard layer goes on as a grey charcoal rather than the pictures sparkly black coal. The sparkles aren't anywhere near as plentiful once actually applied, and if you cake it on to get it dark it will infact begin flaking off and cracking just from you talking or moving your mouth at all. Even just trying to use it as a semi sparkly grey was annoying as I still had to reapply every 30 minutes because even then, it still cracked and flaked and god forbid you fold your lips together to try and even it out. Most lipsticks this does work but with this one it just pushes all the pigment to the edges. This for me will probably be repurposed as an art supply of some kind as I hate to waste, maybe a kind of crayon. I love Medusas Makeup but this Msmile branded product was a rather big miss.

I had been looking for a black sparkly lipstick for a while, so when I saw this one and saw how cheap it was, I was stoked!!! When I received it, I excitedly opened the package, and was slightly disappointed when I saw that the glitter on it was just sprayed on and comes right off as soon as you rub it. But before I let myself get too disappointed, I thought, let me see what’s it’s like when I put it on. Well, that’s when I became even more disappointed. The formula is super dry, and not as creamy as expected. Also, the color is not very black unless you go over it a lot of times, and then it pills and kind of flakes off. It’s not even wearable, so I pretty much just wasted my money. Overall, I am very disappointed in the quality of this, and the color payoff, and will probably end up just throwing it away.

Not creamy/smooth like the other lipsticks. Dry and hard to apply- also doesn’t last.
