I used LTs Smokey Teal during lockdown on my 50% grey har. Was pretty perfect but washed out all too quickly so my dumb*** bumped up to Cerulean Sea. Enter glowing teal head it was cool but I felt a little uh conspicuous for quite awhile like no real washout. Long story longer my greys faded to a greenish hue that I have been trying to tone. Tried Slate Grey but washed out too readily for the price so I am now using a combo of conditioner, Eclipse Black and strange as it sounds a dab of Adore 121 Jet Black to counteract the purple base of Eclipse. This $22 diy color conditioner combo lasts months; I also add Eclipse Black to my shampoo and conditioner. My greys are now a dark gunmetal with a slight metallic tint. Loves it.
My hair is already pretty dark but I just wanted that little extra black in it for Halloween and I will say that a little of this stuff goes a surprisingly long way. I didn’t think one bottle would be enough for all my hair but I got full coverage! Other pluses are also that it doesn’t have that chemical smell most other dyes do and also when you wash it out it’s kinda fun coming out in purple green and blue x3
