I really enjoyed it. I did receive one item as a repeat from my Glitz Glam and this first Medusa Box.
I received my first beauty box this month. I was fairly impressed if not totally blown away. I would have liked something a little more exciting color-wise, but I really do love what I got. The Bitchin' eye shadow is a great, champagne color that will be really easy to use all the time. I love Grace, though it is much less opaque and impactful than the images on the site show. However, with my brown eyes it looks beautiful and blends really well. The lip balm is GORGEOUS and feels very nice on. It is a little wide so it's not perfect to apply but it's not bad. Finally, the makeup remover is basically just coconut oil with fragrance. It works relatively well but it's not my favorite oil based remover. Overall I am pleased and can't wait to see what my next box brings!

This box is a really good value compared to other subscription boxes I get. First, you really do get full size products. Second, I didn't feel like they just threw in their least desirable products either. Third, and most important, the box wasn't boring. Sometimes these sorts of subscription boxes come and all the eyeshadows are light gold shimmer and all the lipgloss is clear. Inspiring right? If I wanted boring and neutral, there are already tons of boxes for that. In this case, I thought the shades were fun and appealing. They were wearable but not pedestrian. A couple of the things I wouldn't have picked but I LOVE them, which is exactly what you want out of a subscription box. Insanely happy with this purchase. Proud to support a local business and will stay subscribed!
I was hoping the colors would work better together, so I could do a whole "look" with them. My teen age daughter I share these boxes together. Surprisingly I'm the more wild one lol. I took most of this haul. She ran with eye makeup remove because that is something she has issues with.
Totally Baked Eyeshadow "Bitchin":
I love the shimmer it is really pretty. I was impressed with how much is in the cake. The only down side is with both my daughter and I it matches our skin tone pretty close so it just blends, but adds shimmer. I'll probably use this as a high lighter.
Liquid Eyeshadow "Grace":
I was ecstatic with how bright and shiny the color was my daughter on the other hand won't tuch it with a ten foot pole. I'll probably use this to add some pop when I'm going out on karaoke night.
Tinted lip balm "Smile":
We both liked the way it felt on we both have really dry and chapped lips this time of year. This was amazing. It also smells wonderfull I liked the color my daughter thought it was a little dark. Another win for me!!!
Love Bird Mascara Remover "Pina Colada":
This smells amazing. My daughter says it's okay it does take off eye make up, but it didn't work that well on her mascara. "There is better stuff out there", "It would work in a pinch".
I would love this if there was an option to put yes or no to certain colors/items like i will never touch highlighter or bright reds or blue mascara and that seems to be what i recieve. Overall im rating it a 1 because we just get random stuff and dont like half of it. I wish i hadn't wasted my money because there is absolutely NO money back/cancellation. I wanted to try something new, I am not a purple lippy blue mascara type of person. I like, like one thing out of each box. I wish I didn’t waste my money on this subscription.
